A few things people ask before we start.

How fast will I get my episode back?

  • A Draft comes back within 3 business days.
  • Ongoing production runs on a 5-business-day standard per episode, counted from when we have your complete files and notes.
  • Rush turnaround is available on some schedules, but it's quoted separately, not part of standard scope.

How many revisions are included?

  • Ongoing production includes 2 revision rounds per episode.
  • A revision is a change to something already delivered within scope — a cut, a level fix, a wording change in an asset. Small, reasonable fixes fall under those rounds.
  • New work isn't a revision — a new segment, a materially different structure, or assets that were never in scope. If a request crosses that line, we'll say so and quote it, rather than absorb it quietly or surprise you later.

What if my recording quality isn't good enough?

  • You'll hear about it early, not at delivery. If a file can't reach the standard cleanly, we'll flag what's causing it and what would fix it — usually mic technique, the room, or settings.
  • We won't force extreme processing to hit a number. Where a file has to deviate from the standard, we stay as close as we can and tell you what changed and why.

Who actually does the work?

  • Editing, cleanup, mixing, and mastering are done by hand, and every episode is listened to end to end by a person before it ships. Analysis tools check the work — loudness, peaks, obvious problems — they never do it.
  • Written assets — show notes, descriptions, posts, transcripts — are drafted with AI assistance and edited by Noah before delivery.
  • Final audio is delivered to the LITT Standard: roughly −18 to −16 LUFS integrated, with true peak no higher than −1 dBTP.

Is what I record kept confidential?

  • Sensitive recordings are processed locally and privately.
  • If a show needs confidentiality, white-label treatment, or an NDA, that's agreed in writing before work starts. (See "Will you feature my show in your portfolio?" below for the default.)

When is payment due?

  • Invoices are due upon receipt unless we've agreed in writing to a different schedule.
  • For projects that require an upfront payment or deposit, we don't start work, book sessions, or confirm timelines until that payment is received.
  • If an invoice for ongoing work is more than 10 days overdue, we may pause work and delivery until the account is brought current.

What's your refund and cancellation policy?

  • Our work is custom and time-based, so payments are generally non-refundable once work has been performed, time has been reserved, or deliverables have been created or delivered.
  • Deposits are earned as work, time, and project expenses accrue.
  • If a project is paused or canceled by the client, you're still responsible for work completed and any approved, non-recoverable costs.

Who owns the final files?

  • After full payment, you own the final defined deliverables we create for your project, subject to any third-party rights (for example, licensed music or fonts).
  • LITT keeps ownership of its internal tools, templates, presets, and working session files.
  • You can use the final deliverables across your own brand and channels, but you can't resell them as a competing editing, mixing, mastering, or production service unless we agree in writing.

Will you feature my show in your portfolio?

  • Unless we agree in writing to keep a project confidential or white-label, LITT may show your project in our portfolio and marketing.
  • This may include your name, logo, project title, non-confidential descriptions, and brief public excerpts of the work.

How do you handle my information?

  • We collect only the information we need to respond to inquiries, plan and deliver projects, and process payments.
  • If you use our intake form, you can type in details and optionally paste a link to a recording (for example Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or your podcast host). We don't host uploads on the site — files are handled directly, and shared links stay under your control.
  • We may use third-party tools (like website hosting and storage, email, scheduling, file-sharing, transcription and note-taking, and payment processors) to run the business, and they handle data under their own privacy practices.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
